This is a very early tiling of mine. Jan. ‘88, I think. I still remember the feeling of triumph, and the swiftly following understanding of the meaning of “inspiration”, when after a couple of days of trying to get two figures to work sort of like this, I finally got my head working right and quite suddenly saw how I could do it. Zap! It was done. I’ll probably not show any of the preceding trial efforts. You’re not missing much.
