Variable Tilings (Page 1)

This gallery contains tiles and tile sets that can make DIFFERENT tilings. (Just as can the Beetles and the Bats and Lizards, who have their own galleries ‘cause they’re so special.)
It is true, but not very remarkable, (really, when you look at the facts), that each of these tiles or tile sets can tile the plane in an infinite number of different ways.
What IS remarkable is that these tiles are both figurative AND can tile the plane in different ways. As far as I know, only I, Dr. Robert Fathauer, and Prof. Roger Penrose have ever devised such “variably assemblable figurative tiles”. If you know of others, please E me, and I’ll at least mention them.
